With the Lock & Load Underbed Gooseneck, you have the option of pulling a fifth wheel trailer with either the Hawkeye 17K Over/Under Fifth Wheel Adapter or the Freedom Inverted Fifth Wheel System.
HOW THE LOAD AND LOCK WORKS: Pull the lever and the Spring loaded all pops up into place and locks. It is ready for towing. After towing the all is pushed down till it locks and the dust cover replaced. Truck bed is now available for full use.

It requires the installation of the Putnam Lock & Load Underbed Gooseneck Hitch on your truck. When installed the maximum capacity is 17,000 lbs. Capacity. HOW THE HAWKEYE OVER/UNDER 17K WORKS: Start with our Lock & Load Underbed Gooseneck hitch installed Remove the gooseneck ball from its underbed canister. install the special “Over/Under” adapter in the ball opening. install the Hawkeye fifth wheel head into the canister. That is all it takes to turn your 25,000-pound Lock & Load Underbed Gooseneck into a 17,000-pound fifth wheel hitch. You can now hook up to your 5th. Wheel trailer in the normal way.

PULL and TWIST GOOSENECK HITCH		PULL and TWIST GOOSENECK HITCH…the name says it all. With just a facing plate showing in your truck bed, the Pull & Twist hides away under the bed of your truck until you are ready to use it.  When it is time to tow, just Pull the gooseneck ball up by the handle, and TWIST to lock it into place. With a 30,000 maximum load rating, the Pull & Twist will handle the toughest towing with ease. Make sure to add U-bolt and Safety Chain Kit for additional safety.
